Experience the charm and traditions of the 1930's with the Feed Sack Lady herself, Darlene Zimmerman by participating in Clothesline Club.

Darlene is a renowned textile historian specializing in the era of the 1930's. She gets her inspiration for quilts and fabrics from the vintage textiles she collects. She designs authentic reproduction fabrics based on her collection of '30s style dress goods and feed sack fabrics.

"Family Gatherings" Fabric Collection

Clothesline Club 2009 begins April 7. We are excited about all the new fabric collections and projects for the new club year. Please plan to join us wehenever you are able for creative ideas, great projects and friendship.

Our second quarter of Clothesline Club 2009 will begin on July 7, 2009. We will have projects featuring the "Family Gatherings" fabric collection. The class themes will have us thinking about the winter holidays and the projects will use 1930's holiday themed fabrics. The new projects will include table toppers, a small quilt and a tree skirt. Several of the projects would be great gift ideas. We hope you will plan to join us and get a summer start to your holiday decorating ideas and your sewing and quilting projects for gift giving.

Each month at Clothesline Club you will receive a free newsletter from Darlene, instructions on completing the new projects, a history lesson, have an opportunity to share in show and tell (remember to bring your projects to share), and receive a coupon for 15% off all Darlene Zimmerman patterns, kits, fabric, books, and notions purchased on club day. Pick your favorite time: 10:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., or 6:00 p.m. We look for ward to seeing you on club day.
